Finally!!!

I took on a challenge from my lovely cousin to do a paper project with red, green & pink.

It could be anything we wanted and it had to be done in a week.

(According to the boss lady-you know who you are).

Well almost 2 weeks later and I am finally finished, YEAH!!!!!!!!

I hope you like it.

I took some close ups so you could see my little homemade flower. You just can't help but love a homemade flower! It was quite challenging to be restricted by colour which I found a little hard so I added some yellow to give it a little pop! Can't wait for the next challenge,

which I think I'm setting. I must check up on that.

WELCOME

Hello, welcome to my new blog. I had to move from typepad because people were telling me that they wanted to follow my blog but couldn't. So hopefully this makes it easier for everyone. I have been so busy with life that I haven't been doing much craft, but I will be changing that very soon-like tomorrow! Recently my baby girl turned 10 and decided she wanted to go to the local asian restaurant for a birthday dinner - so I thought I better keep the theme and I made her an asian girl birthday cake. I must say thank you to Mel from Melly & Me as the design was taken from her book Kaleidescope - Thanks Mel!!!! My daughter loved it !!!

I know that asian girls should have black hair but I had no black dye so she had to be blonde.

I will hopefully get some projects finished and some new ones started this weekend. I am going to hockey tomorrow morning to watch my baby play and then on Sunday I am off to Cairns to have lunch with my gorgeous Aunty and my beautiful cousin - that will be nice but I don't think I am going to get much done as Cairns is an hours drive from me. Anyway I am happy that I have this blog thing sorted it has been driving me nuts. So until next time remember
