Wee Memories Challenge

Thought I would enter this challenge over at ...wee Memories.
This week the theme for cardmaking is Tutti Frutti.
I remembered I had this great sticker from Cosmo Cricket range DeLovely.
I just love it sooo cute....
Head on over and check out this gorgeous blog, it is so inspirational.
The DT team make the most gorgeous cards every week.
I have never had the courage to enter any of the challenges but I felt a little
more confident when I saw the challenge was tutti frutti
and my pear sticker came to mind. I have been chomping at the bit to use it.
I used Cosmo Cricket DeLovely patterned papers, white bazzill cardstock.
My birds were made with Stampin' Up punch and I punched in
two different colours and then layered the bird to add dimension.
I then distress inked all the edges with Tim Holtz walnut stain.
I also added a lovely light blue nylon ribbon so my little birdies
had somewhere to perch.
Hope you all like, please feel free to leave any comments
I love to hear from other papercrafters.

Nuts about Sketches Reveal

Hi Ladies
My new Nuts about Sketches layout reveal.
This sketch was a double layout but I
seriously do not have enough photos at the moment
to complete one. So I decided to work of the left side
of the sketch. This is the sketch I had to work on.

Here is my take on that sketch.
I have used Cosmo Cricket range "DeLovely".
(One of my fav's)!!!!!!!!!
There is so much going on with the patterned paper
I decided to keep the page as simple as possible.
I am really happy with it and my model Daughter
thinks it's great, so I guess that's all that matters!

Head on over to Nuts About Sketches
and check out what the rest of the DT have done.

Especially for Carmel!

Hi Ladies & Miss Carmel
Here is the page I promised.
I changed my whole idea and went with something new.
This is my take on a sketch from Anna Bowlis from the blog Pencil Lines.
I used a stamp from Stampin' up and embossed it to be a part of my title.
I love this photo so much, it is of me & my little cousin Carmel
it was taken on New Years Day 2000 at my sister's wedding.
One of my favourites ever!
I chose a simple design because I wanted it to be all about the photo.
Hope you like it and I will be back shortly to reveal my new
page for Nuts about Sketches. Until then
Give thanks to tree's & spread the love!

A Father's Day Card

Hello my fellow paper artists

Just wanted to post a pic of the father's day card
I made for my husband.
He looked at what I made him and he said
" baby I can't believe how much effort you went to"
How sweet, I was grateful that my DH acknowledged my time & effort
Honey you are a sweety, and you are always grateful for what I do for you.
Thank you for being a wonderful husband & father.
(I am a seriously lucky girl)!

Hope you all had a lovely father's day yesterday!

My poor Hubbie worked so I visited my lovely cousin

and we had a craft day (not much crafting got done though).

We were too busy chatting!

Back to post some layouts soon.

Challenge #6

Hi Ladies
My husband finally left the building and I
was able to photograph my completed challenge.
It is not a very good effort but all I had time for this week.
I saw this somewhere on the internet (can't remember where)
and I downloaded the free pattern for future reference.
So here is my M&M packed little shirt & Tie 3d Project.

I made this little tag using a Stampin' up stamp.
I tried to tie it so it would hang at the front
but it just didn't work so I decided to place it on the back.
Not my best effort but I know my hubbie will love the M&M's inside.

I am glad that challenge is over, who's idea was that? LOL!

Till the next challenge
