New pages

Hi again Ladies
Here are a two pages & a card I have made because I can.
The first page is a pic of my little niece & goddaughter.
The second is a photo of my Mum & her new husband.
I was the official photographer so I get to scrap whatever
pictures I like, gotta love that.

This is a card I made for a DT application.

That's all for now.

Give thanks to tree's and spread the love.

Nuts about Sketches Reveal

Hello Ladies
Here is my weekly reveal for Nuts about Sketches.
This week was a double page layout which scared me a little
but once I got started my creative brain took over
& I thoroughly enjoyed doing this layout.
It took some time to complete but well worth the effort.
I used silver 12x12 sheets (unknown brand), then basic gray spotted paper.
I used sequins to match the costume in the photo's.
The four images across the bottom of my pages had,
not only my daughter but other children in the dance.
So to point out which one was baby I hand cut out stars to place
over her. I really like how they look.
The title is a chipboard element I picked up at a craft fair
in Townsville, it only cost me a couple of dollars.
I just LOVE a BARGAIN!!!!

Make sure you head on over and have a look at the sketch
and check out some of the amazing pages from our DT.

Nuts About Sketches #130

Hi Ladies

Just wanted to show you my take on this
week's sketch over at Nuts about Sketches.
I love these photo's of my girl, she is so funny sometimes.
I used Sassafras paper Serendipity-Gum Drop Garden,
blue bazzill cardstock, Heidi Swapp Self Glitter Letters,
American Crafts button, asstd buttons & ribbon.
I am happy with most of the page, I think I could have done
a better job with the journalling. I am really not happy with
my lack of imagination in that department.
Get on over to NAS and check out the sketch & see
what all the other DT members have done with it.
Better yet why don't you have a go at the sketch.
If you do please leave a comment with your blog address
I would love to check it out.

Well I hope you all had a productive & relaxing weekend.

Have a lovely week & remember

Give thanks to tree's & spread the love.

Wee Memories Challenge

Thought I would enter this challenge over at ...wee Memories.
This week the theme for cardmaking is Tutti Frutti.
I remembered I had this great sticker from Cosmo Cricket range DeLovely.
I just love it sooo cute....
Head on over and check out this gorgeous blog, it is so inspirational.
The DT team make the most gorgeous cards every week.
I have never had the courage to enter any of the challenges but I felt a little
more confident when I saw the challenge was tutti frutti
and my pear sticker came to mind. I have been chomping at the bit to use it.
I used Cosmo Cricket DeLovely patterned papers, white bazzill cardstock.
My birds were made with Stampin' Up punch and I punched in
two different colours and then layered the bird to add dimension.
I then distress inked all the edges with Tim Holtz walnut stain.
I also added a lovely light blue nylon ribbon so my little birdies
had somewhere to perch.
Hope you all like, please feel free to leave any comments
I love to hear from other papercrafters.
Remember give thanks to tree's
& spread the love.
